Partnership for Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Urban Agenda for the EU develops concrete actions – open public consultation

Culture and cultural heritage significantly contribute to the quality of life in the European cities. But how to protect heritage and develop it at the same time? And how to make the most of its social, economic and ecological value? The Partnership for Culture and Cultural Heritage in the Urban Agenda for the EU offers interested public a voice in the development of its future actions.

The Partnership for Culture and Cultural Heritage of the Urban Agenda for the EU is currently developing a series of pilot projects and recommendations, so-called “actions”, to deal with culture and cultural heritage in the EU and to strengthen the development of existing cultural and heritage policies and activities. The actions will be implemented in 2021.

From now until September 9, 2020, the 13 actions can be commented as part of a public consultation on the European Commission’s online platform (Link). All interested parties are invited to discuss the partnership's proposals!

Italy and Germany have taken over the project coordination of the three-year partnership. For questions and feedback, please contact UA.Culture.Heritage@ecorys.com.
