In March, Culture for Cities and Regions will head to the French city of Angers.
Angers has been rated number one city for its quality of life amongst other large French cities (L'Express, 2015). Angers benefits from a range of natural and cultural assets, together with high profile infrastructures and initiatives in various areas of the cultural and creative industries. But so far the city miss a vision, and a methodology process, to further promote and develop its CCIs.
Angers has started to set up a strategy, with a focus on three main aspects where the city has strong assets: music, cinema, and plants. The coaching team will help the city overlook what has been done so far and what’s next to be done to achieve Angers' objectives and make CCIs a driving force in Angers' cultural and economical urban development.
